I’m going to talk about my tools today.
My root is urushi(lacquer) artisan, so I introduce tools for lacquer technique first.
This is urushi(lacquer).
Urushi is one of natural lacquer which are collected from the Urushi tree.
It is a very rare natural paint which can take only a glass full from one tree.
But it stinks…
This is a marble plate which I do everything about urushi stuff on it.
It easy to clean up.
These are wooden spatula.
These knives are used for shape wooden spatula and other situation.
I made these cases that are used urushi technique to imitate feather.
